Scientists and leaders are currently nurturing the idea of using Solar Geoengineering, where reflective particles are injected into the atmosphere to reduce global warming. However, this global intervention alone fails to address the real issues of consumption and emissions. Such a large intervention is highly complex, and many of the consequences cannot be predicted.
There will be unknown, unwanted and unintended consequences.

A Sensible Way to Destroy the Earth is a film exploring humans' ability to confront complex challenges. As individuals, we are not able to comprehend the severity of the climate crisis. Therefore, the solutions we seek to apply are quick fixes, and come across as shallow.
This film portrays humans living in, and adapting to the possible consequences of Solar Geoengineering.
